Q: Hello, I purchased your Taurus Sedan Police Interceptor console and didn’t realize the factory Ford console base bracket was removed by the police department. Do you offer a bracket?

Caution: Using our bracket with a different manufacturer console will require careful measuring and drilling holes and being extremely careful not to use fasteners that damage the electronics under the bracket.  We do not recommend this approach.  If you purchased a different brand console, I strongly recommend that you return the console you purchased from the different seller and go with our complete kit with the bracket.  Here is that link: https://nenno-products.com/product-info/SEDDELKIT This complete kit is pre-assembled for easy installation; it is adjustable on the existing bracket with slots so no need to re-drill holes if you want to re-position the console on the bracket.  The best part is that it is now made in Wisconsin so a super nice quality solution. 

Q: What is the difference between your two 2020 Explorer Consoles with brackets?

Dodge Charger Inquiry

Q: I purchased a Charger Police Console Trim panel and didn’t realize it was not a genuine Mopar part and made in China until I got it.  I didn’t know how inferior and cheaply made it is and how poor the fit is until I was ready to install it.  Here is a photo of the issues. Since I have to pay to return it, do you have the outlets and USB stuff to install in the empty holes and I will try to use the trim panel as is?

A: The made in China Charger police parts definitely have fitment issues.  If returning the part to the vendor is not an option, check if the unpopulated openings are within factory Mopar specs, we have a 12V Trim Kit with and without the USB harness.  The USB snaps into the rectangular opening between the two 12V circular ports. Both kits include the hex washer nut to secure the panel to the tunnel stud.

We have not received reports of any fitment issues with using our OEM wiring kits in the Chinese panels, only the poor panel-to-dash alignment as well as the slight texture and black plastic color mis-match of the actual panel as shown in the photos above.

Q: I purchased a used Charger trim panel on eBay.  The seller said it would fit my 2016 Charger interceptor.  The hole for the USB is elongated, what can I do?

A: The panel you purchased is actually from a 2021-2023 Charger Police vehicle. The elongated opening is designed for the USB Hub, not the USB/AUX which your 2016 should have.  I recommend going with a trim panel that is an exact replacement from a 2011-2020 Charger for best results.  Feel free to email a photo of your wiring in that area to us for visual confirmation of what you have now so we can make a recommendation for you.  Unfortunately, I am not currently aware of any conversion technique to adapt your earlier charger to use the 2021-2023 HUB.

Q: The OEM replacement Dodge Charger 12V Power Port does not fit right in my trim panel

A: The power port outlets you bought are an exact fit for the vehicle that shows up in your purchase record on our end. Attached is an illustration of the factory trim panel and where the outlets install.  The corrrect Dodge Mopar Power Outlet Cap is notched to fit into the trim panel as shown in the photo.  That notch must line up with the notch in the panel and pressed into place before sliding the power port into position to lock it in place.

Has your vehicle been modified from stock and that's why you are having an issue or are you perhaps trying to install the outlets in an after-market reproduction of the original factory plastic trim panel? Q: My 2012 Charger former police car is missing the USB harness, CHARGER USB WIRING, how do I add it back to the car:

​A: The 2011-2020 Charger Police vehicle when built new vehicle comes with a factory USB/Aux Port provided in the center console trim.  The used OEM trim included in our full kit has a rectangular opening for the USB port. 

If you need this port harness, we do offer it.  2011 - 2020 Dodge Charger Police USB Port Harness MOPAR P/N 68232705AA Note that in some cases, the wiring harness that the USB harness interconnects to may be missing also.  This harness feeds the two 12V Auxiliary power ports on each side of the USB port in the trim so it’s fairly simple to identify. Q: Can I install a Civilian Charger Center Console into my police charger?

A: This approach can force you to encounter multiple challenges. Caveats directly associated with buying a civilian console (floor shift “retail” Charger) purchased from a salvage yard auto recycler or on eBay include the following key things to try to avoid:

Salvage yards often break the forward tabs off that firmly secure the very front of the console to the dash causing it to shift out of place and misalignment.

Frequently broken are the shifter bezel opening plastic slot frames that the required shifter delete panel snaps into.  The OEM Charger delete panel will not stay in place if the tabs do not fully engage.  There are aftermarket “unbranded” panels sourced from China available that do not fit properly largely due to using the wrong retainer clips and overall poor design molding.     

Regarding the wiring, there are vendors selling various adaptation type harness.  It is important to note that the civilian harness is quite different between 2011-2014, and 2015-2020, with different variations in each depending upon how the civilian donor vehicle was optioned out.  Adaptation harnesses may not activate all the functions you are looking for so read the description carefully before buying and work only with trusted U.S. sellers.  Adapting same year as the target vehicle to keep the differences to a minimum and if you are ok with keeping some of the higher level functions off of your must have list (such as lighted cup holders and/or power outlets, heated seat switches) you will be in better shape going forward. 

In contrast, the NennoPro® Charger Console offerings are high quality, simple to install, and are free from any and all wiring complications listed above.

Q: How do I pick out the best Console for my 2021(through 2025) Durango?

A: We do offer a full complement of console solutions to cover your needs.  Two different height consoles, and each is also available with your choice of two different base brackets.

Q: I need a center console for my Chevy Caprice police car.  Do I need the console only or the complete console kit?

A: The console only approach relies on having the original factory “L” shaped plastic console trim panel (2011-2013) or the heavy gauge slotted metal equipment plate (2014-2017) in your vehicle.  We recommend our kits that include the console assembly pre-attached for several key reasons.  First of all, they look the best.  Our large black texture powder coated steel brackets are designed to replace the above OEM parts and are easy to install.  So, if you are looking for best price point and you are not as particular about the OEM parts looking fresh or nice enough, the lower price console without the large bracket is a strong option.  Our Caprice Console Kits are complete and our recommended approach.

A: Great questions.  We have been selling our hole patches for well over 10 years now and with excellent results.  Our ongoing environmental testing of our patches continues year-round with rigorous cycling through severe Wisconsin winter cold to the blistering summer heat in the 100’s with nothing but positive results.  Our spotlight patch is made to our demanding specifications.  Thorough cleaning of the surface is essential to secure bonding.  Take your time positioning it over the area as the adhesive is extremely strong and if you pull it away and try to reattach it will damage the seal.
